Announcing Pioneer Lab and Trainings for 2017

17 December 2016

Education Reimagined is hosting Pioneer Lab meetings and training in different regions around the country in 2017.

Pioneer Lab Meetings for 2017

Pioneer Lab is a national, ever-growing community of practice for diverse learner-centered practitioners to create the future of education together. Lab participants collaborate and create both virtually and in-person on inquiries that, if answered well, will advance the learner-centered education movement.

March 23-24, 2017 in Houston, TX

October 26-27, 2017 in Providence, RI

To participate in Pioneer Lab meetings, you must first go through a Pioneer Lab training.

Who couldn’t be passionate about a movement with the phrase “learner-centered” at its heart?  This is what education should be about, plain and simple.

Pioneer Lab Trainings for 2017

The Pioneer Lab training is a carefully designed 2-day experience that takes diverse learner-centered practitioners with very different experiences to a single shared starting point, ready to work together effectively in one on-going national community of practice. The training will leave participants profoundly related to one another, curious about each other’s practices, and ready to take on and own any conversations necessary in Pioneer Lab.

January 9-10, 2017 in Atlanta, GA

June 22-23, 2017 in Chicago, IL

November 16-17, 2017 in Boston, MA

The January session is completely filled. We are looking forward to gathering many new learner-centered districts, schools, and programs. Participants include district leaders, principals, educators, and learners. If you are interested in learning more about the June or November 2017 trainings, please contact us for more information. There is an application process, and we can only accommodate a limited number of individuals at each training.
