We connect these efforts to accelerate their advancement and spread at a national level. Our aim is not replication or mass production of any singular method, but rather building a field that centers learners and is continuously growing in sophistication, collective wisdom, efficacy, and reach.

The Learning Lab

We ignite pathways for connection, partnership, and shared learning amongst an ever-growing community of practitioners and organizations powerfully serving young people through learner-centered approaches. The Learning Lab fuels them with convenings, site visits, resources, shared inquiries, and communities of practice.

SparkHouse

We bring together youth from around the country who have experienced learner-centered approaches firsthand to elevate their voices, encourage them in their advocacy, and continuously learn from and with them.

Research

We gather and generate evidence to support the credibility of learner-centered education, contextualize it within the broader educational landscape, stay abreast of current research trends and findings, and ensure that our efforts remain relevant and responsive to the ever-evolving needs for innovation in public education.

Policy and Conditions Work

We investigate and amplify the policies and conditions that enable learner-centered approaches to thrive. We illuminate these insights with practitioners to help them leverage opportunities and navigate conditions strategically in their communities.
