Khara Schonfeld-Karan is the Program Associate for Education Reimagined’s Catalyzing Invention team. She was a K-12 educator for over a decade before working in higher education. With an interest in promoting alternative forms of education, Khara engaged in the academic study of unschooling and published a book on her research. Khara has a Ph.D. in Teacher Education & Professional Development from the University of Maryland and an M.Ed. in Art Education from Kutztown University.
