NACA Inspired Schools Network Resource Hub

The NACA Inspired Schools Network (NISN) is driven to support communities in building models for learning that are relevant to the communities those models are built in.

“NISN works with fellows who are committed to ensuring education is supportive of Indigenous communities throughout the country and creates strong leaders who are academically prepared, secure in their identities, and healthy.” In this work, they have developed a resource hub that documents best practices and resources that have served Indigenous communities well and in many ways are transferable for any community (Indigenous and non-Indigenous alike) looking to improve the opportunities and outcomes of young people. Explore the topic areas that make up an Indigenous education—core values, identity, holistic wellness, academic excellence, and relationships—and discover what insights fit the transformation you are hoping to bring to your learning community.
